Advantage Management Group completes acquisition of 5th tendercare property

Acquisition Strengthens AMG’s Management Presence In Michigan

Southfield, MI, January 8, 2007:

Advantage Management Group (AMG) (www.amgltc.com) announced today that it completed the acquisition of the last of the five Skilled Nursing Centers in Michigan that was purchased in July 2006 from Tendercare Michigan Inc. The Manor of Northwest Detroit (formerly Northwest Continuing Care Center) officially joined the AMG Manors’ family of skilled nursing facilities on January 1, 2007. The completion of this $18 million acquisition strengthens AMG’s management presence in Michigan and creates an opportunity for AMG to lead the way in changing how nursing homes are managed and perceived by the public.

“The Manor of Northwest Detroit is the first skilled nursing center for AMG in the City of Detroit. We are pleased to have an opportunity to invest back into the City,” stated President Reginald Hartsfield.  “We are equally excited about our new project, The Samaritan Manor, scheduled to open in late March 2007, which will be the first new skilled nursing facility to open in the city of Detroit in over twenty years.”
