How will I pay for my stay?
Insurance will often cover your stay in our communities.
What insurances do you accept?
For your convenience, we accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurances. We will help you understand the confusing language of Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, and private insurances. For assistance, contact our admissions office.
Will Medicare pay for my stay?
Medicare will pay for care in our facility if you have available days. In general, Medicare pays for up to 100 days per illness after a 3 day stay in the hospital (does not include time spent in an emergency room). The first 20 days are covered 100%. Beginning on day 21 through day 100, a co-pay is required. Secondary insurance, including Medicaid, can be used to pay the co-pay.
Do I qualify for Medicaid?
The state sets the eligibility requirements for Medicaid. We will be happy to assist you complete the Medicaid application. Please bring the following items:
- Proof of Citizenship
- Valid State Identification
- Current Financial Statements (Bank, Stocks, Annuities, Mortgage, etc.)
- Copy of Social Security, Retirement and/or Disability Check
- Veteran Benefits Letter
